National Parking Platform recognised with two Greater London Enterprise Awards

The National Parking Platform (NPP) has been named Best Parking Payment Interoperability Platform 2026 and received the Transport Technology Innovation Award 2026 as part of SME News’ Greater London Enterprise Awards.

The awards follow SME News’ merit-led research and evaluation process and recognise the NPP’s work to transform the way motorists can pay for parking across the UK.

The NPP provides the infrastructure that enables participating local authorities to connect with multiple approved parking payment providers through a single platform. For motorists, this means greater choice over which app they use to pay for parking. For local authorities, it creates a more open and competitive environment while supporting greater consistency and interoperability across the sector.

The recognition comes at an exciting time for the NPP, as more local authorities and service providers join the platform and its national footprint continues to grow.
