National Parking Platform recognised with two Greater London Enterprise Awards

The National Parking Platform (NPP) has been named Best Parking Payment Interoperability Platform 2026 and has also received the prestigious Transport Technology Innovation Award 2026 as part of the SME News Greater London Enterprise Awards 2026.

The National Parking Platform is a government-backed technology platform that enables multiple approved parking payment providers to operate seamlessly across participating local authority parking locations. By creating a single, open platform, NPP gives motorists the freedom to use the parking app of their choice while helping councils simplify parking management, improve resilience, and encourage responsible parking behaviour.

Additionally, NPP removes the frustration for motorists of having to download additional parking apps when visiting different towns and cities. Instead, they can choose from a range of industry-established service providers, with additional partners expected to join the platform in the coming months.
