For Local Authorities
Join a growing number of local authorities already transforming how drivers pay for parking through the National Parking Platform – a Department for Transport-backed initiative creating a simpler, more connected approach to parking across the UK.
By joining the NPP, local authorities can give drivers greater choice over how they pay, reduce reliance on a single provider and become part of a nationally recognised approach to the future of parking.

For Service Providers
A Service Provider is any organisation that uses the NPP to deliver a product or service to an end user. This could include multi-vendor parking payment services, as well as other solutions that use NPP data, such as journey planning and future mobility services.
We welcome Service Providers of all sizes, from established organisations to new entrants bringing fresh ideas to the market. The size or age of your organisation is not important to us – what matters is that you have a developed, market-ready product or solution that can integrate with the NPP and meet the necessary requirements.
If your product is still in development, we would encourage you to continue building and testing your solution and come back to us once it is ready for integration. This helps ensure that when you begin the NPP onboarding process, we can focus on getting you connected and ready to provide your service through the platform.
Our aim is to create an open and inclusive ecosystem that encourages competition, innovation and greater choice for end users. We work closely with Service Providers throughout onboarding to support integration, testing and readiness to operate on the NPP.

For Connected Suppliers
A Connected Supplier is an organisation that provides equipment, technology or specialist services to a Parking Operator or Service Provider. This could include parking hardware such as payment machines and sensors, as well as software and services including enforcement systems and reporting solutions.
We welcome Connected Suppliers of all sizes, from established organisations to new entrants. What matters is that you have a developed, market-ready product or solution that can integrate with the NPP.
Connected Suppliers connect to the NPP on behalf of a Parking Operator or Service Provider and do not connect independently. If your product is still in development, we encourage you to get in touch once it is ready for integration. We will then work closely with you throughout the onboarding process.
