New Leadership to Drive Next Phase of Growth
The National Parking Platform (NPP) has announced the appointment of Sarah Randall as its new Interim Chief Executive Officer.
Sarah brings over 15 years of experience in parking and transport, with a strong track record of delivering innovation and transformation across both the public and private sectors. Her appointment marks an important step in the continued growth and national rollout of the NPP.
Prior to joining the NPP, Sarah served as Director of Local Government and Propositions at Agena Group, where she led strategic initiatives to support local authorities in modernising services and adopting new technologies.
She has also held senior leadership roles within local government, including Assistant Director at the London Borough of Newham and Head of Parking at Croydon Council. In these roles, she was instrumental in driving forward service transformation through digital innovation and progressive policy development.
Sarah’s contribution to the sector has been widely recognised, including being named Parking Person of the Year at the British Parking Awards.
As Interim CEO, Sarah will lead the next phase of the NPP’s development, focusing on scaling adoption across local authorities and strengthening collaboration with service providers and partners.
Sarah Randall said:
“I’m delighted to be joining the National Parking Platform at such a pivotal time. The progress made so far is hugely exciting, and the opportunity ahead is even greater.
The NPP has the potential to quietly revolutionise the parking sector — simplifying the experience for drivers while supporting a more open, innovative and efficient market.
I’m looking forward to working closely with local authorities and partners to build on this momentum and deliver real, lasting benefits.”
A spokesperson for the National Parking Platform said:
“Sarah’s appointment brings exceptional leadership and deep sector expertise to the NPP. Her experience across both local government and the private sector makes her uniquely placed to lead the platform through its next phase of growth.
As we continue to scale nationally, Sarah’s leadership will be instrumental in ensuring the NPP delivers on its ambition to provide a simpler, more flexible parking experience for drivers and a future-ready solution for local authorities.”
